The young man wants to find a woman like her mother and realizes that “the model no longer exists.” The girl wants a man less macho and more modern. The two sides are then often disappointed.
But do not see everything in black! It is of course possible to find her prince charming or his beloved Lebanon!
After the marriage proposal made, lovers get engaged at a simple ceremony in the presence of the family.
The course of a traditional ceremony
Everything starts with the meeting at the home of the bride. Her future husband comes to get his family to get together at the place of worship.The religious ceremony is traditional and takes about an hour. The couple exchange rings and alliances, some family members make speeches, reading of religious texts is interspersed with songs. There are usually no quest and communion.
When the union is celebrated, to party! Newlyweds and guests go to the reception room. In Lebanon, it is very common to organize their wedding reception at a hotel.
Cocktails, appetizers, local music, dancers … The VIP wine already looks the mood for the rest of the reception.
Once the guests of honor wine parties, up to the meal. The menus are loaded and the dishes are meant very sophisticated. History not stuff the guests, a break is made between the hot starter and main course. Small animations, speech and table passage wedding table entertain guests.
Then the meal continues and ends with the cake. Just last spoon of ice falling away, guests invade the dance floor. The party then last until the wee hours.
What is a temporary marriage?
This is a limited time contract that allows a man and a woman unite without final commitments and respecting the Shariah (Islamic law governing religious, political, social and individual).“Spouses” do not sign any contract. Everything is concluded orally. The woman offers the man to give in exchange for a dowry, and for a certain period (minimum 1 month). If man accepts the marriage is concluded upon payment of the dowry.
Temporary marriage is the only marriage in the world that ends without annulment, divorce or death of a spouse.
If at the end of the contract the couple want to stay together, they can unite officially or finding new limited-term contracts with a new dot.
To know: Originally, temporary marriage was called “pleasure marriage” because it was mostly restricted to soldiers. This allowed them to satisfy their desire without betraying the Sharia. Today, although temporary marriage is increasing in some regions, the company strongly condemns.

In Lebanon, as in other countries of the East, there is a marriage which does not require common domicile, social recognition or written document. We call this union “temporary marriage”.According to European logic, which says marriage said same address, civil liabilities, assertive married life … The opposite of temporary marriage!
